Membership Discount Programs for Canadian Nurses

Canadian Nurses Association (CNA): CNA provides exclusive savings from national service providers which includes insurance, car rentals, transportation, hotels, and more. Nurses who register for the CNA will pay a membership fee of $63.65 for the calendar year (source).

Registered Nurses Association of Ontario (RNAO): The Registered Nurses Association of Ontario provides discounts on education, insurance, and other services to nurses and nursing students. RNAO members will also receive free access to the Registered Nurse Journal as well as free attendance to webinars, consultations, and meetings. Registration is free for nurses who completed their undergraduate program in the past 12 months   (source).

Association of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM): The Association of Registered Nurses of Manitoba offers exclusive member discounts to partner stores and businesses. Membership is open to registered nurses, nursing students, nurse practitioners, associate RPNs or LPNs, and non-practicing nurses (source).

Registered Practical Nurses Association of Ontario (RPNAO): The Registered Practical Nurses Association of Ontario offers special benefits and discounts to registered nurses, associate nurses, nursing students, and non-practicing nurses. Members can also access free resources on self-care, continuing education, student learning, career-building, and more (source).

Canadian Nurses for Health and the Environment (CNHE): Nurses receive free online educational courses and events when they sign up with the Canadian Nurses for Health and the Environment. Registration fees are available in 1-year or 3-year plans for active and retired nurses, while undergraduate student nurses can sign up for free (source).

Canadian Orthopaedic Nurses Association (CONA): The Canadian Orthopaedic Nurses Association offers discounts on CONA national and local events to practicing, retired, associate, and student nurses. Registered members will also get 50% off Orthopaedic Nursing digital subscription, 40% off the annual subscription to the International Journal of Orthopaedic & Trauma Nursing, and 25% off the NAON Online Orthopaedic Review Course (source).

Nurses and Nurse Practitioners of British Columbia (NNPBC): The Nurses and Nurse Practitioners of British Columbia provides exclusive benefits and career opportunities to all nursing professionals in BC. The annual fee is $60, and all members of the NNPBC including the ARNBC are eligible for free services and discounts from partner organizations (source).

Winnipeg Regional Health Authority (WRHA): The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority provides employee discounts to healthcare professionals through the StAR Program. Nurses employed in Winnipeg can avail of discounts on movie and theatre tickets, fitness programs, gym memberships, beauty salon services, car dealerships, electronics, and more (source).

Canadian Association of Hepatology Nurses (CAHN): Members of the Canadian Association of Hepatology Nurses are eligible for reimbursements on travel expenses for annual conferences. The registration fee is $75 for one calendar year (source).

Via Rail: Canadian Nurses Association members receive a 5% discount on Via Rail fares when they create an account and use the code 810892 when buying a ticket. Discount extends to a maximum of 3 people per CNA member (source).
